Mics are batch tested using B&K test equipment in a controlled anechoic environment at the factory in China. Every microphone is audio tested and checked before leaving the factory and again in Winnipeg, before shipping your order. If your microphone arrives and it doesn't work properly, or sounds noticeably "off", contact us right away because it means that something happened during shipping and we will replace your microphone.
